Below Is A Small Tribute To Those Who Have Contributed To The Success Of
Tony's Tropical Tiki Bar
A Tribute To Miss Emily

Miss Emily's Blue Bee Bar, the birthplace of the world famous Goombay Smash is a shack approximately 12 x 9. It is here that the goombay smash was originally made famous by the legendary Miss Emily. This potent and fruity drink is served throughout The Bahamas and in specialty restaurants throughout the world. The Goombay Smash is WORLD famous and people are willing to kill for its recipee. True to her Christian principles, Miss Emily never tasted her Goombay Smash - or any other form of alcoholic beverage. Nor did she ever reveal the secrets of her "patented" anesthetic to anyone outside her immediate family and Tiki Tony. Tiki Tony brought back Miss Emily's secret from his first trip to Abaco, Bahamas and was able to make it the focal point of Tony's Tropical Tiki Bar. Now people from far and wide come to enjoy Tiki Tony's Goombay Smash in the beautiful paradise setting of Tony's Tropical Tiki Bar. Tiki Tony has made adjustments to Miss Emily's secret recipee and it is this mixture that he serves at his famous Tiki Bar. He shares this recipee with others that insist they must have it but in no way will he EVER give away Miss Emily's original secret ingredients. He will take them to his grave as did Miss Emily when she passed away in May 1997. GOD REST YOUR SOUL MISS EMILY. We "LOVE" YOU
Barefoot:
The inspiration He Gave To Tiki Tony 30 Years Ago Will Live On With Him Forever

About Barefoot Man: He's to the Caribbean what Jimmy Buffet is to Key West, but everyone knows him only as "Barefoot." Barefoot is the biggest "B" to hit the islands since Blackbeard. No visit to the islands are complete without taking in George Nowak and his band (The Barefoot Man and Band). In Europe Barefoot man is bigger than Buffet with many top 10 songs out of the more than 30 Albums that he has recorded. As it turns out, the Barefoot Man is not only an excellent musician and song writer; he has defined the words “niche marketing” to create a cottage industry based around his bare feet and humorous songs. He owns the record company that records and sells his music. His wife is the accountant and he is also the photographer and writer. He sells T-Shirts, CD’s of his songs in addition to CD’s for kids, CD’s of diving songs and Christmas CD’s on his website and at his performances. It also looks like he has worked a deal with Cayman Airways along with The Reef Resorts in the Cayman Islands and Nippers Beach Bar in the Bahamas for them to advertise on his CD’s as well. He has branched out to the Bahamas where he has an album that has been a Top 10 hit for four years. He has won Grammy’s, Gold Records and is enormously popular on both the Bahamas and Cayman Islands. His music was used in the movie, “The Firm” which was filmed in part in the Cayman Islands. There is a scene in the movie where Gene Hackman is dancing to one of Barefoot’s songs.
Jimmy Buffett

James William "Jimmy" Buffett (born December 25, 1946) is a singer, songwriter, author, businessman, and recently a movie producer best known for his "island escapism" lifestyle and music including hits such as "Margaritaville" (No. 234 on the list of "Songs of the Century"), and "Come Monday." He has a devoted base of fans known as "Parrotheads." His band is called the Coral Reefer Band.
Aside from his career in music, Buffett is also a best-selling writer and is involved in two restaurant chains named after two of his best known songs, "Cheeseburger in Paradise" and "Margaritaville." He owns the Margaritaville Cafe restaurant chain and co-developed the Cheeseburger in Paradise restaurant concept with OSI Restaurant Partners (parent of Outback Steakhouse), which operates the chain under a licensing agreement with Buffett.
