Tony's Tropical Tiki Bar End Of Summer Bash was an absolute blast and great way to end the 2018 summer season!
Barefoot Man, King of the Caribbean, flew in from The Cayman Islands to
kick off his U.S. tour, for his latest release; his "Then And Now" album.
Playing at The Jersey Shore for the first time in his legendary career of over
40 years, and more than 25 albums, it was truly an honor to host this event
with Barefoot to a sold out crowd limited to 80 very lucky guests.
The days concert was filmed and recorded by Virginia based Trop Rock
music station Beachfront Radio. You can stream their music at
Beachfrontradio.com - check them out, a great radio station.

Beachfront Radio's article on The Barefoot Man Concert at Tony's Tropical Tiki Bar
Read Article Below
Our new feature is a weekly editorial by one of our BeachFront Radio Ambassadors.
This one is from Craig Guest who attended an outdoor concert at Tiki Tony's house in New Jersey.
First, I would like to say a few words about Tony’s Home, Tiki Bar.
What a tropical paradise! I felt like I was in the islands. The surroundings included a beautiful tiki bar, tropical foliage (in New Jersey), swimming pool, and, at night, light torches and colored lights on the beautiful foliage. This setting was perfect for the “Barefoot Man”. I was there along with my wife Diane and our own BeachFront Radio BeachBum Andy was there along with his wife Marilyn. It was a great day for an outdoor music concert.
The Barefoot Man lives in Grand Cayman. I was surprised to learn that he was born in Germany and raised in North Carolina. His music is fantastic and he is so popular in Grand Cayman that he performs in four of the major hotels and is known as the “King”.
The show started out great. he played his music from the early days, as he told us why he wrote each song. He has written 2000 songs about things that happened in daily life. He has recorded 500 of his songs so far.His songs are about everyday life and experiences we all have. The songs really bring the stories alive.
Note: If you have read the book “The Firm” by John Grisham, you may remember the reference to “The Barefoot Man”. In the movie,Barefoot Man actually performed the song “Money, Money, Money" which he was asked to write and perform for the movie..
Barefoot Man also writes books. One is called “Which Way to the Islands?” Which is about how he started his great career. He also has a new CD called “The Barefoot Man- Then & Now.
The night was filled with great music and songs that made you laugh.Tony’s Tiki Bar provided the perfect setting and transported us to the islands. Songs played included:
“The Facebook Song”
“Shame and Scandal in the Family”
Etc.etc.
Barefoot Man also talked about the concert he has done for 19 years in Abaco. His followers flock there to see him each year.
My favorite song of his is “Week-end Castaways”.
The Barefoot Man has a great theory:
“I work very hard not to work”.
If you get to the Cayman Islands, look for him at the Royal Reef Resort and many other resorts in Grand Cayman. He will also be in concert with Sunny Jim on Nov. 16.17 &18 (check the web). You will have a great time.
